What Is Selling on Xconnexion?

Selling on Xconnexion is a program that enables businesses to sell their products on Xconnexion.co.za we call it the Xconnexion Marketplace. Marketplace sellers select the products they want to offer and set prices themselves, they also store the items at their premises. Xconnexion takes care of the Quality Control and Delivery to our customers. Why should I sell on Xconnexion?

There are many reasons to sell on Xconnexion.co.za. for one, millions of Xconnexion customers can see your products. Secondly, you’ll have the ability to sell your product faster, without the need to create and spend money on a new standalone website. How do I start selling on Xconnexion.co.za?

Register here to start selling on Xconnexion.co.za. once registered, follow the steps on the Xconnexion Marketplace.

 

  1. List your products under the correct product categories.
  2. Make sure your selling price is correct.
  3. Receive an order from Xconnexion Marketplace through the Seller Portal.
  4. Pick and Pack the order.
  5. Send your order to our warehouse and we will make sure the order h=gets to the customer.
  6. If the customer delighted, you will get paid within 15 days from the date of invoice.
  7. Make sure you have enough stock for customer when you place your product.
  8. Be sure about your shipping rate to other province for the customers.

Who decides the prices of the products?

As a seller, you control price of the products that get sold to the Xconnexion customers. You will be responsible of setting the selling price of your own products. Note that Xconnexion does, however, charge a selling 5% commission on all of the products you sell.

Who take care of the delivery of my productss?

Once your order is received at the Xconnexion database, we’ll check the availability of the product and then consolidate it with other potential items before we confirm to the customer.

How and when will I get paid?

The payment will be made directly to your bank account through an EFT transaction within 30 days from month-end and they is a limit amount of withdrawal.

Can I offer both products and services on Xconnexion.co.za?

Currently, you can ONLY sell products and not services on Xconnexion.co.za.

I do not have valid VAT number, can I still register as a seller?

Yes, you can!

When can I start selling?

After you have completed the registration, all the required documents have been verified and your seller profile is complete, you can start listing your products and start selling. Our goal is to make sure you start selling within 24 hours.

How many listings are required to start selling?

You are required to have a minimum of 10 listing (unique products) to start selling on Xconnexion with a minimum RRP (Retail Recommended Price) of R140.

Do you offer fraud protection?

Yes, Xconnexion takes responsibility for all payment fraud protection. This helps you eliminate orders for your products.

What is the Xconnexion returns policy?

The seller needs to collect their own returned orders. Xconnexion doesn’t send it back to the seller.

How can I get visibility on Xconnexion?

Xconnexion Marketplace offers packages with specific marketing actions to promote your brand, products and special offers

How long is the average shipping time?

Shipping is vendor specific, make sure to check the vendor details when purchasing items as they control the shipping method. When buying SideCentral products, average shipping time is between 2 to 5 working days for local purchases with a maximum of 14 days.
